SoFlaJo Ice Dancer review and swatches

SoFlaJo is releasing a Winter Collection called Party Time Collection. There are seven polishes in this collection. I was sent Ice Dancer to review for you. Ice Dancer is a blue shimmer polish with brown, silver and micro holographic glitter. I fell in love with this polish. The base of this polish seems to be a jelly consistency.

Per Jody from SoFlaJo:
"Ice Dancer – I love the sparkle and glitz of the costumes and the fancy footwork of Ice Dancers. When designing this holographic glitter mix of blues, silvers and browns in a blue base, I wanted a “topper” that could be worn alone with opacity in 2-3 coats or dress up favorite undies with its shimmer." 

Purple Reign Of Terror

It's almost Fall and that means it is almost time for Halloween. Halloween collections have been popping up a lot lately with Indie polish makers. Jody of SOFLAJO, is a lover of Halloween and she has come out with the Terrified Collection. This collection features five different polishes, Purple Reign of Terror, Ghost of a Chance, The True Death Spider Funk and Frankie's Lab Dance. Today, I'm bringing you Purple Reign of Terror.

Purple Reign of Terror is a gorgeous dark purple jelly base. It has it has a lot of micro multi-colored glitter that shine through the jelly base. It is a beautiful polish and reminds me of a Halloween night. I had no application issues and the formula was perfect.

This is a must buy! I loved this so much I didn't even want to tak it off. The pictures above show two coats of Purple Reign of Terror and no top coat.

Tequila Sunrise By SoFlaJo

Tequila Sunrise sounds like a drink, no? :-) Well, it's not a drink it's actually a Nail polish that was sent to me from Jody of SoFlaJo, an indie polish maker. Tequila Sunrise is from her "The Happy Hour Polish Collection" and can be found here. Tequila Sunrise is a peach-orange-copperish color with holo bar glitter. I love the name!! It is very unique and I have never seen a color like this. It is very sheer and hard to capture in pictures. The color is so much better in person than the pictures.

The formula is very good, but it was a tad thick during application I would have to stop and shake up the bottle to thin it out. I wish that more of the holo bar glitter got on my nails.

SoFlaJo describes  Tequila Sunrise  as, "a nearly nude color-changing from yellow to orange to red and filled with short holo tinsel."  I never did get red, but I loved it regardless. According to Jody, you can layer the polish however you like and create your own look. I loved that idea, but for the purpose of this review I wanted to keep the integrity of the polish and show you Tequila Sunrise.

I really wished Tequila Sunrise would have shown up better on the pictures. They don't do this color justice. The color shift and holo bar glitter was beautiful. I'd recommend you guys buy from SoFlaJo. She has many places where you can reach her: Facebook, Website and Etsy.
