iPhone app for nails

This is really cool. I found an iPhone app where you can try on Polish before you buy it. I know a lot of us are worried about what a certain color would look like on our particular complexion. I stumbled across an app by Nicole by OPI yesterday. this app is totally free.It is really fun to do. Just choose the closest complexion to yours and choose a color n the color wheel it's really cool. If you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch give this app a try. You can search in the App store or click the link below. me know what you think! -Tam

Today's Mani

I have been trying to get my house back in order since Christmas and I have been doing a lot of cleaning so my polish started to chip. This gave me a reason to do another Mani :-)I had to do this while my 2 year old was sleeping so I rushed a bit. The pictures aren't that great either, but here they are:a bit close, but I wanted to show the color.a natural light shot.
you see the mistakes, but oh well. You guys get it. The colors are e.l.f. "Plum" and OPI "Glow up Already"I like the combo. I will clean these up, but I was so anxious to post I took the pictures before realizing :-)What do you think? Don't forget to like my Facebook page at: you read again-Tam

Hey I'm just stopping through to let you guys know I have a page on Facebook now. The link is go like it please! Thanks. Everybody have a great evening!!

Julep's Chloe

*Update* You may already know this, if you did you should have told me, but don't use remover in your lacquers. It messes up the chemistry of the polish. Use a thinner. I also heard Essie has a good thinner. --------------I told you that I would show a swatch of Chloe from Julep so I'll share here. The color is a little different. it appears black, but has pink sparkles in it. It is really pretty. The best shot I have doesn't give you the real swatch of the color, but here it is:What do you think?Chloe is very thick. I had to add remover to thin her out and then move fast. If it starts to dry before you're done with that coat you may as well start completely over. This was very frsutrating at first, but after I figured it out it went smoothly. Chloe's reviews aren't very good either. She gets a 1.5 out of 5 stars. Here is what she looks like in the bottle on Julep's site:Can you see the pick sparkles? She is very adorable, but a little difficult to work with. Hope this helps anyone interested.Until you read again...Hearts&Hearts -Tam

Loving Wedge Pumps

Are you loving wedge pumps? I can certainly say that I am. Here is just an example of what I mean. This are by Mix no.6 and they are cute! I am 5'9" and I love heels. I have no shame at all wearing my heels. I will be the tallest in the room and not feel gigantic. I guess it's just the confidence I have. I have been tall most of my life and I never saw being tall as a bad trait. Hey my mother is 5'9" as well and confident so maybe that's where I get it from. Anywho what are some wedge pumps that you are loving right now? Please share...

I have lots of swatches that I want to share with you guys. This is the first one. This color is Smoky Brown and I love it! I already told you guys how much I like e.l.f. cosmetic's nail lacquer. Tell me what you think: This color looks to be grayish on here, but it is a smoky brown. The shine on my fingers and nails is the drying drops from Nicole by OPI.Do you own any e.l.f lacquers?Tell me what your thoughts are on this color. You can find this and other colors at a drugstore near you or at*I purchased this lacquer with my own money. e.l.f cosmetics did not supply this lacquer and they haven't contacted me to review their products.*
