365 Day Of Color Christmas Collection

Sunny from 365 Days of Color does it again. Sunny seems to come up with unique designs for her collections and then top them off with something special. This time, for her Christmas Collection, Sunny introduces scented polishes into her store. She has three polishes in this collection: Trimming the Tree, Santa Baby and Gimme Some Bubbly.

Note: If you are sensitive to scents, I would suggests not buying scented polishes.

So, let's get into the review, shall we?

Trimming the Tree:

Trimming the Tree is a Green base color polish with tiny red and green glitters. There are also some green hex glitters. The scent of Trimming the Tree is pine or Christmas tree scented. The smell on this one is very noticeable. If you don't like the smell of pine, this one is not for you.

Trimming the Tree had a wonderful formula and application.. I love this color green and it is darker than I thought it was going to be. The first coat went on so light, but once I added a second coat, it was opaque.

Just gorgeous!! I can actually say I have no polishes like Trimming the Tree, do you?

Santa Baby:

Santa Baby is a light red jelly with small glitters, square glitters and medium hex glitters. The color of the glitters and red and white. This is the color of a candy cane. I love Candy canes so I was very excited to try this one. The scent is even Candy Cane, but it smelled more like a cherry mint scent to me. It was very light though and not too overwhelming. I absolutely LOVE this one!! It is my fave of the collection.

Simply beautiful!! I love it and the white square glitters make my heart beat :-).

Gimme Some Bubbly:

Gimme Some Bubbly is a beautiful gold duochrome with small hex glitters throughout. I'm not sure if it was just my eyes, but when I applied Gimme Some Bubbly it was gold and at certain angles I noticed a pink color. This polish applied great and the smell reminds me of bubble gum. The actual scent is strawberries and Champagne (like the Victoria's Secret scent). The smell isn't overwhelming on this one either.

I finally found a gold polish that I like. I'm not sure if it is the fact that I see a duochrome or the fact that the polish has lovely glitters throughout. I really can't say why I love it so much. In the pictures I used  three coats and there is still VNL (visible nail line). If you don't like VNL then I would suggest a gold base color.

The pictures show three coats of Gimme Some Bubbly. The flash washed out the color a little. It is slightly more opaque in person.

365 Days Of Color Christmas Collection will be available November 16th! Make sure you pick up this collection. You will not be disappointed.

  3. These are really pretty! They'd be perfect for the holidays, but they're not so "themed" that they wouldn't look every bit as great all year 'round. ;)
