Watermelon Wednesday! Happy Fourth of July

Happy Independence Day (4th of July)!! A lot of the bloggers I know got together and decided to do Watermelon Wednesday. I thought it was a fun idea although, I'm not a nail art guru. I don't like watermelon either so this is as close to eating watermelon as I'll come. Lol!!

I was very proud of my nails and I think I'll keep trying this nail art thing because the more I try the better I get. I used Four different types of polishes to get the watermelon look. The polishes I used were:

Left to right:
Wet n Wild Heatwave, Nicole by OPI One Time Lime
Sally Hansen Yellow Kitty and e.l.f Black

This was a total experiment and I liked it :-)

(Please excuse the shiny hands! That is cuticle
oil and it showed up oh so shiny in the pics)

I added a couple of dots of Sally Hansen Yellow Kitty on top of Nicole by OPI One Time Lime and blended the colors to give it the yellow-green look of Watermelon. What do you guys think? My sister said she really likes the thumb ;-).

Thanks for reading,
xoxo -Tamala
